I collect mint of Lithuania 1918- 1940 as well as the newer issues. I am 99% complete except for special overprints such as the Darius Girenas flights, locals 1940 era. I became interested in Lithuania due to the fact that my grand parents came from the Suvalkie area. Since 1990, Lithuania has become my passion and has displaced my interest in collecting U.S. stamps. Last year my wife and I had the absolute pleasure to visit Lithuania. There is not too much there to purchase in the older issues. would be interested in trading for older U.S. but probably just outright purchase at a reasonable price. I would like to share with everyone a Professional video that my wife and I did after our return from Lithuania last summer. A Lithuanian collector and writer looks for stamps, essays and projects created by famous artist Vytautas Kazys Jonynas. V.K.Jonynas author of more as 150 stamps of French occupation zones of Germany, Vatican, United Nations died in Vilnius in December 1997. I collect ESTONIA mint and used stamps, covers, postcards, FDCs and special cancels etc. My goal is to have every federal or local issue at least once mint, cancelled and on a cover or postcard. My stamp collection of 1918-1940 is nearly complete (some 10 are missing), from this area I am searching covers and postcards. 1991-1992 cancel-paid postage from Estonia on soviet covers is also of interest (all of them). From 1992 on, only a few cancelled stamps are missing (mint stamps and FDCs come from Eesti postmark), but I am still searching for a lot of covers from this period.
