Baltic States Philatelic Literature
Jan Kaptein has a very extensive list of philatelic literature of the Baltic area, an indispensable resource for collectors of Baltic stamps indexed by country, period, topic (indexed are the magazine HBG (complete), Lithuania (complete), Bulletin of the Philatelic Society of New York (partly), Phillit (last years), Lithuania Philatelic Society (last years), and others.

In a time before messages were sent via email whilst their authors played online games, such as Partypoker.de , postage stamps tended to features exceptionally intricate detailing, examples of which can certainly be found in this useful guide to early Baltic stamps.
